
President & CEO

Gerry Hindy, a graduate of Evangel University, joined Foundation Capital Resources in January 2006. His professional career began with a regional accounting firm in Pittsburgh, PA., where he became a certified public accountant. Subsequent to that, he pursued building a portfolio of business interests, which included a wide array of businesses in several different industries. During his career, he also played a strategic role in leading several publicly traded financial institutions through unique business combinations resulting in increased efficiency and shareholder value.
Hindy has also served on the board and executive committee of Convoy of Hope for more than nine years and has served other churches, colleges and ministries over the past 25 years. Prior to coming to FCR, he was the owner and president of LLGC, Inc.

Chief Financial Officer

Donny Johns has nearly a decade of experience in public and corporate accounting. He began his career with BKD, LLP, a CPA firm in Springfield, Missouri. He was hired as manager of General and Trust Accounting for Foundation Capital Resources in 2001, and was later promoted to the position of controller. In 2004, Donny was appointed chief financial officer with the responsibility of the oversight of the financial and accounting operations of FCR and its affiliated entities. He assumed his current position as executive vice president, Corporate Services Group, in September, 2005. Donny is a certified public accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Chief Loan Officer

As executive vice president and chief loan officer of Foundation Capital Resources, Josh Bartlotti provides key management services for this dynamic and rapidly growing stewardship ministry dedicated to providing capital resources to churches and ministries.
Prior to joining FCR, Josh was the senior vice president of a regional mortgage banking institution where he grew and established 11 branches in Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kansas and Illinois. He was instrumental in growing the company into one of the largest independent mortgage banks in southwest Missouri.

Chief Operations Officer

As chief operations officer, Jim Batten, is responsible for the implementation of corporate strategies as developed by the executive management team. Jim also provides oversight to the communication and strategic services of Foundation Capital Resources.
Prior to joining FCR, Jim served 14 years as the chief financial officer of O’Reilly Auto Parts, Springfield’s largest publicly traded company and the third largest auto retailer in the United States. During this time period, O’Reilly grew from $110 million to $2.3 billion in annual revenue for year ending December 31, 2006 and also expanded from 127 stores in four states to over 1,600 stores in 26 states.

Chief Investment Officer

Scott Wynant brings over 25 years of experience in financial and investment services to his position as executive vice president of Investment and Retirement Solutions Group and chief investment officer for Foundation Capital Resources. His broad financial background consists of serving as first vice president of Smith Barney for 16 years, and six years as executive vice president of AG Financial Trust and Investment Services. Scott was instrumental in the creation of AG Financial Wealth Management Solutions, LLC, an investment advisory firm established by AG Financial to offer faith-based wealth management solutions and the Steward family of faith-based mutual funds. He has served as a member of the AG Financial Investment Committee since 1998, charged with day-to-day responsibilities of monitoring, implementing and reporting on AG Financial Solutions investments.
